Meet Tom Ordway

Tom-Ordway-Jumping-Clinic

"Great Rounds Happens One Fence at a Time."

Tom Ordway grew up in South Glastonbury, Connecticut and graduated from the Glastonbury Pony Club with an "A" rating. During his career, he worked at equestrian facilities across the country, including Ponca Hills Farm, Topping Riding Club, Leeward Farm, and Maffitt Lake Farms.

He has trained with many nationally and internationally-acclaimed instructors like Jan Royce Connant, Rich Eckhardt, Karl Milkolka, George Morris, Gabor Foltenyi, Bill Warren, Fran O'Reilly, Carol McArdle, and Jessica Ransehousen.

Tom's quiet manner and patient approach to training turns out safe, well-educated jumping teams. His methods are based on a foundation of solid flatwork, which directly builds the horse's and rider's jumping skills and overall fitness. In addition to teaching clinics around the U.S., Tom operates his own training and boarding facility in Princeton, Idaho. Tom is also a USEF Combined Training Technical Delegate.
